Apple iPad mini (7th Generation)

The A17 Pro chip (same as iPhone 15 Pro) provides more than enough power for any app, and Apple Pencil Pro support makes it a capable note-taking device. It's the preferred tablet for pilots (fits cockpit mounts), doctors (fits lab coat pockets), and readers (best e-reader with color). At $499, it's not cheap, but nothing else offers this much capability in this small a form factor.
